Right of Withdrawal

The following information on withdrawal applies to consumers within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) who conclude a paid distance contract with WOHNO via the platform — in particular when purchasing paid plans, premium features or other additional services. Entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which the contract is concluded.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (WOHNO UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i. G., Bachstr. 36, 52066 Aachen, Germany, email: info@wohno.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested that the services or the supply of water/gas/electricity/district heating begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to the services already provided up to the time you informed us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal with regard to this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

In the case of a contract for the provision of services, the right of withdrawal also expires if we have completely performed the service and only started to perform the service after you have given your express consent and at the same time confirmed your awareness that you will lose your right of withdrawal upon complete performance of the contract by us.

In the case of contracts for the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal also expires if we have begun to perform the contract after you have expressly agreed that we may begin to perform the contract before the expiry of the withdrawal period and you have confirmed your awareness that, by giving your consent, you will lose your right of withdrawal once performance of the contract has begun.
